Material Information:
- Chipboard: Chipboard is a composite wood material made from small wood particles, usually pine or fir, bonded together under high pressure and temperature using resins. Widely used in furniture making, interior surfaces, and construction applications, it is made from recycled materials and is resistant to warping, abrasion, and other physical stresses.
- LPL Decor Paper: Low-Pressure Laminate (LPL) Decor Paper is widely used for decorating surfaces such as furniture, doors, floors, and other interior decoration surfaces. It is a type of decorative paper impregnated with resins to make it durable and glossy. It is then applied to substrates like MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard) or plywood and processed under low pressure and heat to produce products like furniture surfaces. It is available in a wide variety of colors, designs, and textures that can replicate natural materials like wood, marble, and granite.
- Metal: Metal is widely used in furniture manufacturing, offering a range of advantages compared to other materials. It is highly resistant to wear and tear, making it ideal for furniture intended for everyday use in demanding environments. It maintains its shape and structure perfectly, ensuring stability and longevity for the furniture. In addition to the properties mentioned above, metal can have other characteristics, such as antimicrobial action (copper) or conductivity (lead).
- Fabric: Fabric is a versatile material made by weaving, knitting, stitching, or bonding fibers. These fibers can be natural, such as cotton, wool, or silk, or synthetic, such as polyester or nylon. The weaving of fibers creates a network that gives the fabric its properties, such as strength, softness, breathability, and elasticity. There are countless varieties of fabrics, each with its unique characteristics and uses.
- MDF (Medium-density fibreboard): MDF is a wood derivative. Resins (glues) are used to bond wood fibers, which are compressed with special heated presses for its production. It is denser than chipboard and resistant to wear. Also, it does not absorb any moisture.
Maintenance Instructions:
- Chipboard: To clean chipboard, use a soft cloth slightly moistened with water and a mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
- LPL Decor Paper: Sufaces with LPL veneer are easy to clean with mild detergents and a soft cloth. It is recommended to avoid contact with liquid elements.
- Metal: For indoor metal surfaces, regular dusting or cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended.
- Fabric: The maintenance of fabric depends on various factors, such as the type of fiber, fabric construction, and its use. Use a mild detergent suitable for the type of fabric. Avoid using bleach or whiteners, as they may damage the fibers.
- MDF: To clean, use a soft dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Gently wipe the surface until the stain is removed. Finally, wipe the surface well with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so it is important to protect it from moisture. Wipe off any liquids immediately. Do not use strong cleaners or chemicals as they may damage the MDF.
