Material Information:

• Chipboard: A composite wood material made from small wood chips, typically pine or fir, bonded together under high pressure and heat with the use of resins. It is widely used in furniture, interior surfaces, and structural applications.
• MDF (Medium-Density Fibreboard): A wood-based material created by bonding wood fibers together using resins (glues), then compressed using heated presses. MDF is denser than chipboard and more durable. Additionally, it does not absorb moisture.
• Melamine (LPB – Low Pressure Melamine): A synthetic material commonly used in surface treatments for chipboard and MDF in furniture construction, known for its durability and easy maintenance.

Maintenance Instructions:

• Chipboard: For cleaning chipboard surfaces, use a soft cloth slightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid excessive use of water and keep the surface dry after cleaning.
• MDF: Clean MDF with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt. For stains, use a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Wipe the surface gently until the stain is removed, then dry the surface thoroughly with a dry cloth. MDF is sensitive to moisture, so protect it from humidity and wipe any liquids immediately. Avoid using harsh cleaners or chemicals, as they can damage the MDF.
• Melamine (LPB): One of the most well-known materials in furniture, melamine can be cleaned by using a soft cloth with lukewarm water and mild soap. Wipe gently until the stain is removed. Melamine is sensitive to moisture, so it’s important to protect it from water.
