The heat treatment process involves heating the glass to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it. This creates a compressive stress on the surface of the glass and a tensile stress inside, making it more resistant to impacts, thermal shocks, and scratches. It is about five times stronger than regular glass in terms of impact resistance. A significant advantage is that if it breaks, tempered glass shatters into small, blunt pieces, reducing the risk of serious injury. It is used in tables, desks, TV furniture, and more.

Maintenance Instructions:

• Tempered Glass: Start by using a soft damp cloth and a mild cleaner or just water. Wipe the tempered glass with the cloth using gentle circular motions. Avoid using excessive pressure or materials that could cause scratches.
• Metal: For any indoor metal, dusting or wiping with a damp cloth regularly is recommended. However, for outdoor metal furniture, follow these steps:
  1. For extended protection, apply protective cream, easily available in stores, to your metal furniture.
  2. If your furniture is processed and painted with powder-coating, it is very durable and can be cleaned easily with a damp cloth.
  3. If your metal furniture is not powder-coated, you need to be more careful and keep it away from water and humidity. You can cover them with special covers and, if possible, place them indoors during winter.
  4. If you notice rust, remove it with turpentine, then apply anti-rust varnish before painting the surface with oxidation-resistant paint.
